Breaking free from a legacy CMS and delivering a new website in weeks.
The challenge
Due to an upcoming licence renewal Charity IT Leaders, needed their core website rebuilt in a timeframe of just a few weeks. Not only did we manage to come in on time and budget, but there was some capacity left over for adding all the bells and whistles.
The solution
Cygnet broke the existing page structure down into a series of reusable components. We then used Wordpress the Flynt page builder to recreate the existing pages and content. By leveraging statically generated pages and a CDN we were able to deliver a lightning fast website in record time.

Improve the user experience
The new website is much easier to navigate and find information. Members can now easily find the information they need and sign up for events.
Streamline content management
Editors can now easily create and manage content using a page builder and a range of custom modules.
Load quickly on a range of devices
The new website is lightning fast and scores 100% on Google Core Web Vitals desktop.
Stretch goal
Given the tight timeframe we set aside some contingency to build requirments that were discoverd during the project. One of these was a "Jobs Board" which allowed members to highlight vacancies in their organisations.
